NEW DELHI, October 21. /TASS/. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that he expects top Russian diplomat Sergey Lavrov to take part in the G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Atlanta at the end of October.
"I don’t know if he himself is coming. I expect he might. I think he told us he was in the last time we engaged with him," Rubio told reporters during a visit to India.
According to him, the Russian side will participate in the meeting in any case.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told reporters that Lavrov's participation in the meeting was being arranged.
