UNITED NATIONS, October 15. /TASS/. More than 70 children have died and more than 480 others have been injured in Ukraine’s attacks since the beginning of this year, Russian Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador at Large Rodion Miroshnik said.
"There has been a catastrophic increase in deliberate attacks by Ukrainian troops targeting minors. Since the beginning of this year alone, as many as 484 children have been injured, and 72 have been killed. In August alone, 101 children were harmed. We have every reason to say that even children have now become military targets for Ukrainian militants. Kiev has resorted to crimes that previously were not considered permissible even for monsters like them," he told an unofficial Arria-formula meeting of the UN Security Council.
