Russia’s MOEX and RTS indices added 0.06% to 2,422.92 and 909.2 points, respectively, as the main trading session started on Thursday, according to trading data as of 9:00 a.m. Moscow time (6:00 a.m. GMT). The yuan exchange rate against the ruble lost 1.25 kopecks compared to previous closing to 12.433 rubles.
As of 9:40 a.m. Moscow time (6:40 a.m. GMT), the indices were down by 0.09% at 2,419.35 and 907.85 points, respectively. Meanwhile the yuan exchange rate was up by 0.4 kopeck at 12.45 rubles.
The MOEX Index lost 0.2% as morning trading session started on the Moscow Exchange as of 7:00 a.m. Moscow time (4:00 a.m. GMT) to 2,416.58 points.
