WASHINGTON, September 20. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump announced that his country was creating AI Force, similar to the Space Force he created in 2019.
"I’m forming the AI Force, much like I did Space Force, which has been a tremendous success in my first term," he wrote on Truth Social, adding that the head of the newly formed force will be announced soon.
"AI is the next industrial revolution, or Internet, but will be even larger and more impactful, possibly as much as 25% of our country GDP. We are leading China and the rest of the world, and I intend to keep it that way," Trump added.
The president did not specify whether he meant creating a new branch of the US Armed Forces.
