A four-year-old child has died in a house fire in central western New South Wales.
Fire crews were called to the home in Woodstock, about 20 kilometres north-east of Cowra just before 3pm today.
They arrived to find the property well alight.
A woman and two other children were able to escape the blaze, but the four-year-old remained unaccounted-for.
Firefighters later found the body of the child inside the home after they managed to extinguish the fire.
The woman was taken to Cowra hospital in a stable condition with smoke inhalation.
Police have set up a crime scene, with inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the blaze ongoing.
