"The League only wins if it is strong, if it is united and free and courageous from north to south, and I say this as a Milanese, a Lombard and a Padanian." This was stated by the League's secretary, Matteo Salvini, from the stage at the Pontida youth rally.
He added: "Courage, determination and patience are needed, which means never giving up in good times and bad, never letting success go to your head when the wind is in your sails, never getting depressed but rolling up your sleeves."
