TUNIS, September 24. /TASS/. Yemen’s rebel Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) said its forces had carried out an operation against Saudi forces, hitting several military facilities in the kingdom’s southern Jizan Province, the movement’s military spokesman Yahya Saree stated in a declaration.
"The Yemeni army [the Houthis - TASS] <…> carried out a military operation using dozens of ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. The targets of the operation were command posts, control and operational command centers, weapons depots and other important facilities associated with areas where Saudi enemy forces were concentrated in the At-Tuwal area (Jizan Province)," the statement said.
According to the Houthi military spokesman, the strikes killed and wounded "hundreds of servicemen of the Saudi-led Arab coalition forces (including Yemeni and Sudanese nationals), as well as dozens of soldiers and officers of the Saudi army." Several weapons depots were also allegedly destroyed.
