DUSHANBE, October 20. /TASS/. Russia is ready to share its extensive innovation expertise with its Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) partners through a newly established pool of technology parks, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Tuesday.
"We are ready to scale up our experience in developing such businesses across the entire SCO space," Mishustin told an expanded meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government. "To this end, we propose utilizing the pool of technology parks established within the organization."
Mishustin noted that creative industries account for approximately 4% of Russia's GDP, and the government is working to boost this figure. "In SCO member states, creative sectors also hold significant potential, including for exports. We need to strengthen cooperation to foster their development," he added.
"All the necessary opportunities are in place," the prime minister concluded, urging SCO member states to engage more actively with the special working group on the creative economy.
