Days after AI missile test, North Korea fires another projectile
South Korea’s military confirmed Monday’s launch, which followed its own hypersonic missile test earlier this month
“North Korea fires unidentified projectile into the East Sea,” the Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a brief statement, referring to the body of water also known as the Sea of Japan.
That missile, fired on October 3, “is capable of changing its flight orbit at a low altitude and AI was introduced into it”, Kim Yo-jong, the powerful sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, said at the time.
