CHELYABINSK REGION, October 2. /TASS/. During a visit to the Chebarkulsky training ground in the Chelyabinsk region, Russian President Vladimir Putin was shown unmanned combat vehicles built on the chassis of a T-72 B3M tank, a TASS correspondent reports.
They are equipped with two different combat modules – a tank-type module and a BMPT-type module (tank support combat vehicle).
Putin observed practical actions of the troops during the active phase of the strategic command and staff exercises Center-2026. Crewless tanks with unmanned combat units were deployed during the main phase of the Center-2026 drills to provide fire support to assault units.
