Three serious workplace accidents occurred in Veneto, between the provinces of Venice and Treviso, from last night through this morning. During the night, a young EasyRailFreight worker — a company operating in rail freight transport — suffered a serious crushing injury to his hand on a track at Mestre station (Venice); at dawn, around 6:00 a.m., a sixty-year-old worker at Ecoricicli di Veritas in Fusina was reportedly struck while getting off a vehicle, hit by a truck that injured one of his legs. This morning in Motta di Livenza (Treviso), a 19-year-old worker of Macedonian origin fell from approximately 7 metres while carrying out maintenance work on the roof of a company warehouse.
