The fairy tale forever that gathered 250,000 people at the University of Rome Tor Vergata last July 4th will be coming to the big screen on September 22nd. "Ultimo - Tutto. Live a Tor Vergata", the event film directed by Giorgio Testi, produced by Ultimo Records, in collaboration with Vivo Concerti and with the executive production of Maestro, will be in cinemas distributed by Nexo Studios from September 22nd to 30th, 2026, to tell the story of that night.
The film shows every facet of the record-breaking concert, faithfully following the passage of time and the crescendo of emotions that accompany the Roman singer-songwriter's "fairy tale forever": song by song, fans will be able to relive every moment of this legendary live show, also discovering exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and private moments from what will be remembered as Il Raduno degli Ultimi (The Gathering of the Ultimi), both the culmination and a new starting point for an artist who, at thirty years old, has transformed a personal story into a collective feeling. September 22nd holds deep significance for Ultimo — it is the day that gives its title to one of his most famous songs, released in 2020 to coincide with the birth of his label, Ultimo Records. Since then, every anniversary has been marked by fans with a thought, a dedication, a new way of remembering this date, including gatherings held at his symbolic location, an area of the San Basilio neighbourhood that has now become a regular meeting point, nicknamed the "Parchetto di Ultimo." This year, the celebration will coincide with the opening of screenings of the new film, distributed exclusively in Italy by Nexo Studios.
