Weekend should have sun between clouds and stable weather in São Paulo; see forecast

After the cold front that brought rain and falling temperatures, weather conditions are expected to gradually improve in the city of São Paulo throughout the weekend.

Although this Saturday (25) may still begin with overcast skies and isolated drizzle, the tendency is for instability to ease and sunny spells to break through among many clouds. By Sunday (26), conditions should be more settled.

According to the CGE (Emergency Climate Management Center) of the city government, the cold front's retreat toward the ocean will allow atmospheric conditions in the capital to stabilize. As a result, temperatures will gradually rise again, though mornings will remain cold.

On Saturday, heavy cloud cover is forecast for the early hours of the day, with the possibility of occasional drizzle. Throughout the morning and afternoon, the sun will appear between many clouds, favoring a slight rise in temperature. Thermometers will range between 14°C and 21°C, while relative humidity remains above 60%.

On Sunday, the weather may improve, but only slightly. According to the CGE, the sun will again emerge behind clouds from the morning onward, but temperatures should gradually rise throughout the day. The forecast low is 14°C, while the high may reach 23°C in the afternoon. Relative humidity will hover around 50% during the warmest moments.

Beach weather?

In the Baixada Santista region — which includes Santos, São Vicente, Praia Grande, Guarujá, Cubatão, Bertioga, Mongaguá, Itanhaém, and Peruíbe — conditions are also expected to remain settled throughout the weekend, according to the State Civil Defense.

On Saturday, temperatures are expected to range between 17°C and 21°C. The sun should appear between many clouds, with periods of overcast skies, but no rain is forecast for the region.

On Sunday, temperatures may fluctuate between 15°C and 22°C. Conditions remain stable, with sun between clouds throughout the day and increasing cloudiness at night. Despite partly overcast skies at certain times, no rain is expected for the Baixada Santista region.
