NEW YORK, October 22. /TASS/. The upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) has boosted demand for PlayStation 5 consoles in the United States, with sales rising 22% in September, Bloomberg reported, citing research firm Circana.
According to the data, sales revenue increased 43%, making Japan’s Sony the leader in revenue among gaming console manufacturers.
GTA VI is scheduled for release on November 19 and will be available exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Analysts expect it to be the most expensive video game ever produced.
