ISTANBUL, October 22. /TASS/. The current deterioration of the situation in the Black Sea has been caused by actions of the Kiev regime that attacks port infrastructure and vessels, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said.
"The current escalation and deterioration of the situation has primarily resulted from actions by the Ukrainian side that has begun to strike port infrastructure, hunt for all vessels and carry out military attacks not only in the Black Sea but also in the Mediterranean," the high-ranking Russian diplomat told reporters on the sidelines of the 19th Verona Eurasian Economic forum.
"Let me remind you the story with the [Russian LNG tanker] Arctic Metagaz [attacked by Ukrainian unmanned boats]. This is an extremely brutal terror attack in the Mediterranean Sea. Those who would like to improve the situation in the Black Sea should work with the Kiev regime, convincing it to abandon terrorist practices," Grushko added.
