An increase in cigarette taxes is also among the hypotheses on the table to cover the new fuel excise duty cuts expected with the decree under examination by today's council of ministers. This is learned from center-right sources. On the issue, however, according to reports, a debate is underway within the government over the advisability of resorting to these resources, and the final decision is expected to be made during the course of the Council of Ministers.
