Mumbai: A police constable attached to Dahisar traffic chowky was shunted to the control room on Wednesday, nearly a month after he had an altercation with a motorist at Dahisar.
Officials said the motorist had been stopped by the constable, Rahul Bhavsar, for a check and started to argue with him and film him. The situation escalated and there was a heated exchange of words.
Senior officials said traffic police constables have been instructed to not get into arguments with motorists while on duty.
