LUGANSK, October 15. /TASS/. Russian forces have practically eliminated a Ukrainian group of forces in Orekhov in the Zaporozhye Region, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.
He told TASS earlier that logistics for the Ukrainian army near Orekhov are extremely challenging. Due to Russian strikes, Ukrainian soldiers are unable to use anything larger than a scooter to move around, which has significantly impacted their combat effectiveness. According Marochko, in 99% of cases, the rotation of Ukrainian forces near the city takes place on foot, and the evacuation of the wounded in this area is as difficult as it can possibly be.
"Units that were previously stationed in Orekhov have been almost completely eliminated. And the new ones that Kiev is sending there are no longer capable of changing the situation on the battlefield," he said.
