The Turin prosecutor's office, led by Giovanni Bombardieri, has requested that the investigating judge (GIP) order pre-trial detention for the two German twenty-year-olds arrested by the Digos in deferred flagrancy following the attacks on No Tav construction sites on Saturday. The request was made on the basis of charges of devastation and bodily harm to public officials, in concert with other individuals currently being identified. The request for imprisonment is based on the "existing precautionary requirements that make its application necessary." They are also under investigation for aggravated resistance to a public official, an offence for which deferred flagrancy arrest is not provided for.
