The Turin prosecutor's office, led by Giovanni Bombardieri, has requested pre-trial detention from the examining magistrate for the two German twenty-year-olds arrested by Digos in deferred flagrancy following the attacks on the TAV construction sites on Saturday. The application was made on the basis of charges of devastation and personal injury to a public official, in concert with other individuals currently being identified. The request for imprisonment is based on the "existing precautionary requirements that make its application necessary." They are also being investigated for aggravated resistance to a public official, a crime for which deferred flagrancy arrest is not provided.
