On July 21, Il Fattore Umano returns in a late-night slot on Rai Tre. This fifth season is tied together by a common thread: war. The series consists of four episodes, which will be broadcast from July 21 to August 11 on RaiTre and will be available on Raiplay.

The first episode, Dieci minuti a Beirut, recounts that terrible April 8, 2026 in the Lebanese capital. In the clip, Rabie, a father of seven children who had lived in the Beirut neighbourhood of Ain El Mreisseh for 50 years, describes the moment the bombings began. In the attack, he lost his wife and his mother. Jaafar and Ali, two of his sons, were seriously injured. The youngest, just 40 days old, was left unharmed. That day, he was three minutes away from home, on an electrician job. "No one thought they could bomb here," he tells Il Fattore Umano: "This area is considered to fall within the jurisdiction of the American University and its university hospital."
