MOSCOW, October 21. /TASS/. Russia’s Kalashnikov Group has supplied a large batch of AK-12 assault rifles to a customer, the company told TASS.
"The Kalashnikov Group has supplied another large batch of 5.45mm AK-12 assault rifles from its production facilities after scheduled periodic tests carried out by the customer, who gave high marks to not only the quality of the products themselves but also the holding's faultless performance of its obligations under the government contract," the statement reads.
The upgraded AK-12 is considered the most widely sought-after small arm in the Russian Armed Forces.
The company continues to refine the AK-12 based on feedback from personnel serving in the combat zone, while further modernizing and enhancing the weapon.
