This was stated by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, following her meeting with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre in Oslo, in response to a question about the proposals made by the PD leader, published in Repubblica, regarding the use of 14 billion euros that Italy could deploy by 2028 to accelerate the energy transition.
The Prime Minister added: "For now, from a very quick reading I've had of this letter, I can say that I am pleased there is, shall we say, an implicit acknowledgement of the government's work." She also said: "I remember when the Democratic Party said that the housing plan was hot air, that it was a plan that served no purpose, that it was empty — I remember the criticism. Today they are asking for more resources to be put into it."
"For now I'll settle," she continued, "for the implicit acknowledgement of the work we have done so far."
