DL Racing revolutionizes the classic motorsport team platform: the Milan-based team "supported by Lamborghini" is launching an innovative Driver Academy reserved in 2027 for its own drivers, built around the solid expertise guaranteed by the team and its partners, set against the backdrop of the large factory inaugurated this year in Senigallia, in the province of Ancona. This is how the Young Program and the Factory Program were born, with significant budgets at stake to be spent in the 2028 season. Following in the footsteps of what automotive manufacturers themselves have been pursuing for years, the project aims to discover, train and accompany motorsport talents throughout their journey of growth and achievement. It is no coincidence that, based on the age and experience of the drivers involved, the DL Racing Driver Academy is divided into two distinct programs that represent a concrete opportunity to build one's future in motorsport.

The Young Program 2027 is a pathway reserved for young emerging talents up to 23 years of age, offering the opportunity to prove their worth on track and grow alongside DL Racing professionals. For the winner, a substantial prize is at stake: a budget of 50,000 euros to be invested entirely in the following racing season with DL Racing.

The Factory Program 2027 is designed for drivers up to 30 years of age who already have experience and are looking to consolidate their career and take the step toward professionalism, perhaps as a works driver. In this case, the winner will receive a full budget — that is, a sporting programme entirely funded by DL Racing for the following season. In effect, the winner will become a DL Racing Factory Driver.

Although with differentiated specifics, the activities provided by both programmes will not be limited to evaluating and improving performance on track or driving technique alone. The DL Racing Driver Academy has in fact been designed in a "university" style. For this reason, there will be several "subjects" to be assessed by the team's solid pool of professionals.

DL Racing drivers will also receive technical training relating to the cars (an aspect increasingly undervalued in modern motorsport); they will have the opportunity to prepare themselves physically in the best possible way, also thanks to Lacertosus (a leading company in the fitness world and a DL Racing partner); they will be supported and assisted from a mental, psychological and interpersonal standpoint (for example, in their relationships with the media). The planned activities are numerous, and just as at university, the drivers themselves will be able to discuss and compare notes with the team regarding the marks and assessments given.

In addition to Lacertosus, DL Racing guarantees very high standards among the professionals involved. For example, with the involvement of a team manager of the calibre of Fabrizio Del Monte, who as a driver reached Formula 1. But there is more: the technical director is the experienced Alessio Canonico, while patron Diego Locanto, a volleyball player and captain in the Serie A volleyball league for many years, is now a highly regarded figure in his role as mental coach.
