Libyans themselves must decide on restoring statehood, Putin says

MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/. Only the Libyan people themselves should decide on the restoration of their statehood, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the Russia-Africa summit.

"Of course, the Libyans themselves, and only they, must make the final decision on a settlement and the restoration of statehood. Russia will do everything possible to make sure it is so," the Russian leader said. "And, of course, we will continue our contacts with you on all key issues, including economic matters.".
