Hong Kong’s M+ forges new alliance with MoMA and Centre Pompidou to redefine museum loans
The Hong Kong, New York and Paris museums’ agreement will focus on long-term art loans in a move ‘based on trust and shared values’
Under the partnership, MoMA is planning open a dedicated gallery in New York in 2027 to promote the M+ collection, while M+ will integrate MoMA works into its galleries over the next 18 months. M+ also plans to showcase its LED facade commissions at the Pompidou’s new collection and exhibition facility in Massy, south of Paris.
