"The movement is a different thing in the hands of Reverend Jones, the man who whispered petty objections". So says Beppe Grillo, who renews his attack on Giuseppe Conte in a preview of the Pulp Podcast episode to be broadcast next Monday, September 21.
In the studio with Fedez, who provided a brief preview of the encounter on his social media pages, the comedian pulls no punches against his old friends in the Five Star Movement, settling more than a few scores as the singer himself suggests.
In short, for Grillo we are looking at "a movement that has nothing progressive about it except the paralysis of the progressive mind. Meaning they don't have a single idea". And after reassuring listeners that he is doing well, given his lengthy absence from public events, he announces that "we are heading towards an extraordinary chaos".
The clash with the movement he founded together with Gianroberto Casaleggio is now out in the open. First the legal action to reclaim the symbol and the name, then a lengthy post on his blog in which he launches a head-on attack on Conte's work. Finally, a change of WhatsApp status with an eloquent: Movement zero stars.
