The Bell 430 helicopter model that disappeared with singer Rick, of the duo with Renner, in Santa Catarina on Monday (21), carries up to seven passengers and is worth approximately R$ 10 million on the international market.

This value, however, reflects the fact that it is used and was discontinued in 2010. A new model from the same manufacturer, American company Bell Helicopter Textron, costs an average of R$ 51 million.

According to companies that trade the model, the value ranges from R$ 3 million to R$ 12 million, depending on the year of manufacture, cabin configuration, and turbine flight hours.

The Bell 430 is a modern version of the Bell 222, which became famous in the 1980s in the TV series "Airwolf."

The missing aircraft, a light-medium twin-engine with registration PP-MGR, was manufactured in 2001 and has belonged to the company JTA Empreendimentos e Urbanismo since April 30, 2026.

Its airworthiness certificate is legally registered with ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency) and valid until August 11, 2027.

However, it is registered under the private transport category, meaning it cannot be used for commercial purposes, air taxi services, or flight instruction.

In addition to Rick, the helicopter was also carrying businessman Bruno Avelar, a videographer, and the pilot — whose identities have not been disclosed.
