MOSCOW, October 2. /TASS/. More than 2,000 servicemen who took part in the special military operation are involved in the strategic command-and-staff drills Center-2026, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yunus-Bek Yevkurov reported to President Vladimir Putin.
"The drills here involve more than 780 students of military academies who gained here a vast expertise while deploying and commanding units. <…> In addition, more than 2,000 Russian servicemen with the record of participating in the special military operation are also taking part. More than 600 vehicles used in the zone of the special military operation are involved in the drills," he said.
According to the senior officer, 800 out of these 2,000 servicemen and around 300 vehicles will travel back to their units in the special military operation zone after the drills.
