MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. Kabul expects to strengthen cooperation with Moscow on economic and security matters, and in other areas, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Amir Khan Muttaqi said during a meeting with Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu.
"Our relations develop very well in the political sphere. The countries maintain regular contacts and hold political consultations," the top Afghan diplomat said.
"We highly appreciate Russia’s positive and constructive stance. We hope that this political understanding will further strengthen in the spheres of security and economy, as well as in other areas of cooperation," Amir Khan Muttaqi said.
