The file on the episodes of violence reported by Nicolina Giagheddu, mother of Emanuele Ragnedda — the self-confessed killer of Cinzia Pinna, murdered a year ago in Gallura — has been opened.
The Public Prosecutor's Office in Tempio Pausania has launched an investigation into the detailed account provided by the woman, who in recent days had announced through the press that she had filed a complaint against her ex-husband, Mario Ragnedda, accusing him of having mistreated, beaten and harassed her for thirty years.
According to information gathered, two separate complaints have reached the Gallura Prosecutor's Office. Nicolina Giagheddu, assisted by lawyers Angela Corda and Lia Deiana, had submitted a file of 21 pages, to which she had also attached photographs and videos. In the hours following the announcement of the complaint — made one year after the killing of Cinzia Pinna at the hands of her son Emanuele, who on the night of 11 to 12 September 2025 fired three pistol shots into the face of the 33-year-old woman from Castelsardo and then hid her body within the family estate ConcaEntosa, between Palau and Arzachena — the killer's father, Mario, had responded to his wife's accusations, maintaining that her description and the events recounted by Nicolina Giagheddu were "the product of pure invention and a gravely distorted version of reality."
Mario Ragnedda, through his lawyers Giovanni Satta and Luca Montella, has in turn expressed his intention to file a complaint for slander.
