Novak Djokovic is not stopping, at least for now. After the defeat accompanied by illness and tears at the US Open, which had led him to contemplate retirement, the Serbian tennis player has announced his participation in the China Open in Beijing, an ATP 500 tournament starting on September 30. "I am happy to announce that after so many years I will return to play in Beijing at the China Open - Djoko announced on social media - I am excited about the idea of returning to play at the National Tennis Center, one of the most beautiful stadiums and a place where I have built incredible memories and great successes throughout my career. I thank all the Chinese fans for the affection and support they have shown me over all these years."
Djokovic has been absent from the Chinese tournament for 11 years, having won it five times in his career.
