ISTANBUL, October 22. /TASS/. The fuel crisis in Europe will continue to intensify, Russian Presidential Special Representative for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries and CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev told reporters on the sidelines of the 19th Eurasian Economic Forum.
"We are seeing a fuel crisis in Europe, and it will only intensify," he said, adding that this was the result of attempts to abandon Russian energy supplies.
Dmitriev also said that diesel supply deals with Europe were possible if such a request was made, while European countries could eventually join energy cooperation between Russia and the United States.
"Yes, certainly, we see cooperation in the energy sector, and it will undoubtedly continue to develop with the United States as well. We are also confident that Europe will join this cooperation," he said.
