Fuvest, the organization responsible for USP's entrance exam, is administering this Sunday (26) the second edition of the 2027 general knowledge practice test. A total of 14,540 candidates have registered.
Gates open at 12 p.m., and the exam begins at 1 p.m., lasting five hours. The test will be administered in person in 12 cities.
The practice test follows the format of the first phase of the entrance exam, with 80 multiple-choice questions prepared by the same panels as the official exam. The format repeats recent changes, featuring ten fewer questions and greater emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches.

Candidates with the best performance and a minimum score of 24 points will be called to the second stage, which consists of an essay. The administration is scheduled for August 16, with a limit of up to 10,080 participants. Grading will be carried out by the same team as the entrance exam.
The essay will follow the model adopted in the most recent edition of the exam, with two text prompts, from which the candidate must choose one to develop.
The test locations for the second phase — the essay — and the list of eligible candidates will be published starting at 12 p.m. on August 7, 2026, in the Candidate Area on the Fuvest website.
Also on Sunday, starting at 6 p.m., Fuvest will publish the answer key and the questions on its website. No appeals will be accepted.
In the first edition of the practice test, held in April, 25,747 candidates had registered.
The Fuvest 2027 entrance exam will have its first phase administered on November 1. The test covers content outlined in the BNCC (National Common Curricular Base), including Portuguese language, mathematics, history, geography, physics, chemistry, biology, English, philosophy, sociology, arts, and physical education.
What to bring
Candidates are required to present a form of identification (physical or digital) and a blue or black ballpoint pen with a transparent barrel.
Also permitted are items such as a transparent water bottle, light snacks, a pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener, and ruler.
What not to bring
Prohibited items include watches, cell phones and other electronic devices, printed materials, correction fluid, highlighters, and accessories such as caps, hats, or sunglasses.
The practice test is exclusively preparatory in nature and does not replace registration for the entrance exam nor guarantee any benefits in the selection process.
