MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/. French energy company TotalEnergies increased its liquefied natural gas (LNG) sales by 4% year-on-year in January-September, according to the company’s report.
LNG sales totaled 32.9 mln metric tons, compared with 31.6 mln metric tons a year earlier. However, third-quarter sales were 9% lower than in the second quarter, at 9.8 mln metric tons.
TotalEnergies’ earnings from LNG sales rose by 26% in the first nine months of the year to $4.01 bln. In the third quarter, the figure increased 2.2-fold year-on-year to $1.89 bln and was 2.3 times higher than in the previous quarter.
