MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. Observers have so far not recorded any serious violations during voting in Russia, while the electoral process is continuing in border regions despite attempts by the Kiev regime to disrupt it, Alexander Brod, chairman of the Independent Public Monitoring Association and member of the Russian Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights.
"Regions are working actively, and a large amount of information is coming in. There are no serious violations. Of course, the situation in border regions is worrying, since the aggressive Kiev regime has no shame. Nevertheless, the electoral process is continuing despite attempts to disrupt it," Brod said during the briefing.
The single voting day to elect lawmakers to the 9th Russian State Duma will take place on September 18-20. For the first time ever, residents of the recently incorporated Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as the Kherson and Zaporozhye Regions, will participate in legislative elections for the lower house of the Russian parliament.
