Lady Gaga and her partner Michael Polansky have had a baby girl through surrogacy. This is revealed by TMZ, confirming speculation that had been circulating in recent days. The newborn, whose full name is Rose Bean Polansky, was born on June 9 in Los Angeles.
It is not clear why Gaga, who is 40 years old, chose to use another woman to carry the pregnancy to term. The Abracadabra star suffers from fibromyalgia, an immune disorder that causes severe pain and chronic fatigue. Photos of the newborn out for a walk with her parents leaked earlier this week.
In recent days, another actress and peer of Gaga's, Lena Dunham of Girls, announced that she had a baby girl in August through assisted surrogacy.
