"The shared goal is to strengthen and grow the Lega, further enhancing the role of administrators and territories." This was stated by the Lega in a joint statement following a meeting between secretary Matteo Salvini, the governors of Lombardy and Friuli Venezia Giulia, Attilio Fontana and Massimiliano Fedriga, the president of the autonomous province of Trento Maurizio Fugatti, and the president of the Veneto Regional Council Luca Zaia. The meeting, which lasted approximately an hour and a half, was "a fruitful exchange of ideas on the main current issues and matters of interest to citizens ahead of the Pontida 2026 event."
