Sensi (PD), M5S against sending weapons? They are putting on a show, in government they will do what is needed

"Military support for Ukraine will continue, whether there is a right-wing, centrist or left-wing government. Is M5S opposed to sending weapons? Now they are in opposition, they are putting on a show, but when they are in government they will do what you do when you are in government." This is what PD senator Filippo Sensi said on Rai Radio1, as a guest on Un Giorno da Pecora.

"I don't think the divergence on Ukraine with the Five Star Movement can prevent our alliance, I am certain that the PD will not break ranks, we are a stubbornly united party."

You said that on some issues the positions of Vannacci and those of Conte are not very far apart. Who is better, the FN leader or the M5S one? "Vannacci," Sensi replies, "is a caricature of the far right, there is no doubt that Conte is better, no doubt about it. Certainly M5S is still a right-wing movement, if you ask Conte whether he considers himself left-wing he will answer 'what are you talking about...'"
