Cindy Crawford remains one of fashion's most recognized figures decades after her arrival on the runways. At 60, the model maintains an eating routine centered on simple meals and foods she considers beneficial for her well-being. However, her diet does not completely exclude sweets.

One of Crawford's main rules is not to pursue perfect eating every day. As she has explained, she tries to maintain a balance that allows her to enjoy certain foods without abandoning her usual habits. "I try to be good 80 percent of the time," she stated, according to Marie Claire.

The model prioritizes whole foods and limits processed products and sugar. She also consumes alcohol, though she prefers a simple option. "I drink alcohol, or tequila straight on the rocks. I avoid mixed drinks, like margaritas, because I always feel better without the sugar," she told Allure.

Sweets also have a place in her diet. Crawford shared that she can enjoy a brownie with her daughter when she makes the dessert. "If my daughter wants to make brownies every once in a while, I can have one with her."

But there is one food that holds a special place at the end of her days. The model has said she needs to eat dark chocolate after dinner. "I definitely need a piece of dark chocolate after dinner every night. If I don't have it, I could eat a hundred other things and still not feel satisfied."

What Cindy Crawford Eats During the Day

Crawford's mornings begin with a protein smoothie. The preparation includes almond milk, coconut milk and protein powder. Later, around 10:30, she eats half an Ezekiel muffin or a spelt flour muffin.

For lunch she typically chooses salads and, on some occasions, adds chicken. Among her between-meal options are almonds, apple and a portion of cheese, as well as hummus with celery. She also eats San J Tamari crackers and gluten-free brownies from Urban Remedy.

In the evenings, her meals usually include salmon or chicken accompanied by salad or vegetables. On days when time is short, she opts for brown rice and grilled vegetables. As she has explained, that combination allows her to feel satisfied without feeling heavy. "It will make my stomach feel good and I won't feel bad or too full."

Crawford's diet has not always been the same. During her childhood in the American Midwest, her diet featured a heavy presence of meat. "Everything I ate was meat and, occasionally, vegetables with cheese on top," she recalled.

In addition to her diet, the model practices Pilates twice a week on a reformer. As she has shared, she incorporated this activity a decade ago and uses it as part of her routine to stay strong and take care of her back.
